In the beginning

For three years, I wrote a column in the U.S. Army's Fort Hood Sentinel entitled "Tex Messages." Now that I'm on my own, I'm keeping the Texas spirit alive by writing about all things Texan and the Texan perspective on said things Texan here on The Yellow Prose of Texas.

I shall begin from the beginning by mixing my old columns with new material. If the blog happens to be a re-post of a Tex Messages column, I'll say so, and you can bet it's been re-edited for content and timeliness.

I don't speak for all Texans, but I do speak for many. My opinions are mine and exactly that: opinion. And all of this is strictly for your entertainment.
